“Would you like to help children open their world through language?”

Starting in April 2026, Poplar English Class will be renewed as Cosmo English Class — a place where children’s unique talents and curiosity can shine.

Cosmo English Class is designed to help each child discover their own “gift” and grow with confidence. Through songs, picture books, activities, and meaningful conversations, children learn to use English as their own language while developing individuality, independence, and empathy.

Our classes are led by two homeroom teachers: one Japanese teacher and one native English-speaking teacher. Together, we integrate the principles of IB(PYP) to create an inquiry-based learning environment that values children’s questions, ideas, and perspectives.

We are now looking for a teacher who would like to join us in creating this warm, international learning community.

We welcome teachers who:

• Want to inspire Japanese children through meaningful English experiences
• Enjoy supporting children’s growth and celebrating their discoveries
• Are interested in inquiry-based learning and IB (PYP)
• Value teamwork in a multicultural environment
• Can build caring, respectful relationships with young learners

The name “Cosmo” reflects the limitless possibilities of the universe and the idea that we all share this planet as global citizens. Your experience, passion, and presence will help children open their world and express themselves with confidence.
