中村学園の創立者である故中村有三学園長は、「天下の英才を育てる」ことを理念とし、「育英グループ」の数々の教育の場を創設しました。前橋育英高等学校を始め、育英短期大学、育英大学、そしてこの大利根育英幼稚園は、そんな想いが詰まった教育の場です。
「学業成績だけが秀でている者を集める必要はない。どの子どももいろいろな面で豊かな才能を持っているはずだ。そういった子どもを集めて様々な才能を引き出し、社会に送りだす。そうゆう意味での『育英』の道を貫くことが私の教育理念である。」（中村有三著、～夢ありてこそ～倦まず撓まず屈せず～より）
この教育理念を引き継ぎ、子ども達が自身の個性を発揮しながら、予測不能な未来を生き抜くためのスキルを学び、国際的視野を持つ世界平和に貢献する人として成長するために、R５年度より、国際バカロレア教育（IB）の候補校として新たな挑戦を始めました。そして、２年の試行期間を経て、R７年度より、IB認定校としてIBワールドスクールの仲間入りを果たすことができました。子ども達の生きる力をはぐくむために必要な「教育」と健康を維持するために重要な「食育」を二大柱として、次世代を担う世界に羽ばたく子ども達の育成に尽力してまいります。
Ikuei's Mission to Guide the Growth of Children Who Will Be Responsible for the Future
The late Yuzo Nakamura, the school director and the founder of Nakamura Gakuen, established the "Ikuei Group" with the philosophy of "cultivating and nurturing giftedness in children in the universe." Institutions such as Maebashi Ikuei High School, Ikuei Junior College, Ikuei University, and Otone Ikuei Kindergarten were all founded with this vision in mind.

My educational philosophy is to bring together such children, nurture their diverse abilities, and prepare them to contribute to society. Carrying on this educational philosophy, we have embarked on a new challenge since 2023 by becoming a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This initiative aims to equip children with the skills to navigate an unpredictable future while embracing their individuality and growing into international-minded individuals who contribute to world peace.
After a two-year trial period, in 2025, we successfully became an IB World School. Moving forward, we are committed to nurturing children who will soar into the world, focusing on two key pillars: education, which fosters essential life skills, and food education, which is vital for maintaining health.
